- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 cups rice (jasmine or sticky rice)
- 2 cups fresh vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, spinach)
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnishing
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef: Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and gochujang. Marinate beef for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Rice: Cook rice according to package instructions, ideally in broth for added flavor.
- Cook the Vegetables: Sauté vegetables in a heated skillet until tender and vibrant.
- Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, cook marinated beef on high heat until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine: Return cooked vegetables to the skillet and mix until heated through.
- Serve: Place rice in bowls, top with beef and vegetables, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Drizzle with more sesame oil, if desired.
