Description

A delightful Korean Beef Bowl featuring tender marinated beef, sautéed vegetables, and sticky rice drizzled with a savory soy sauce glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (flank steak or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 cups rice (jasmine or sticky rice)
  • 2 cups fresh vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, spinach)
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and gochujang. Marinate beef for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Rice: Cook rice according to package instructions, ideally in broth for added flavor.
  3. Cook the Vegetables: Sauté vegetables in a heated skillet until tender and vibrant.
  4. Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, cook marinated beef on high heat until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine: Return cooked vegetables to the skillet and mix until heated through.
  6. Serve: Place rice in bowls, top with beef and vegetables, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Drizzle with more sesame oil, if desired.

Notes

Use cauliflower rice for a low-carb alternative or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option.
