Description

Deliciously creamy white chocolate truffles with a zesty lemon twist, perfect for sharing on special occasions or enjoying as a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Crushed nuts or powdered sugar for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, combine the white chocolate and heavy cream. Place it over a pot of simmering water and stir until smooth.
  2. Add flavors: Remove from heat and gently stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Chill the mixture: Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
  4. Shape the truffles: Scoop out small portions and roll into balls, coating with crushed nuts or powdered sugar if desired.
  5. Coat with chocolate: Optionally, dip each truffle in melted white chocolate and let set on parchment paper.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. Be careful with the chocolate melting process to avoid scorching.
