Description

A delightful warm dip that combines the tangy sweetness of cranberries with creamy white cheddar, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 12 tablespoons brown sugar (adjusted to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, minced garlic, and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir until the cranberries burst and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in the fresh herbs.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded white cheddar, and heavy cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the cranberry mixture until the ingredients blend seamlessly.
  6. Transfer the dip into an oven-safe dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, allow it to cool slightly, and serve warm with your favorite dippers!

Notes

For extra special touch, top with chopped pecans or a drizzle of honey.
