Instructions

- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then fold in the mashed bananas.

- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Fold in any optional ingredients like nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
