Description

Savory Turkey Stuffing Balls packed with flavor and nostalgia, perfect for family gatherings and Thanksgiving.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup stale bread or croutons
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onions, garlic, fresh herbs, bread crumbs, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (73.8°C).
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, baste with melted butter and broth during the last five minutes of baking. Can be frozen for up to three months.
