- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup (or maple syrup/honey)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake the pie crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Melt dark chocolate and butter together over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually mix in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Spread the pecans evenly across the crust, then pour the chocolate filling over the top.
- Bake for approximately 50 minutes, until the filling is set but slightly wobbly in the center.
- Allow the pie to cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
