Description

Delicious pinwheels of fresh salmon filled with cream cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and herbs, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Fresh salmon fillets (skinless)
  • Cream cheese
  • Sautéed mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • Fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or chives)
  • Garlic (fresh or garlic powder)
  • Lemon juice and zest
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: Spinach

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon fillets, evenly pound if thicker.
  2. Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet until golden, add garlic, then mix with cream cheese, herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture on the salmon, adding spinach if desired, and roll tightly.
  4. Slice into 1-2 inch pieces and cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Plate with a slice of lemon or herb garnish and serve.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the salmon to retain moisture.
