- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- Creaming the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- Whisk together the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking sheet.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
