- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk (regular, almond or coconut)
- 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip or whipped cream
- 1 cup vanilla wafers or graham crackers, crushed
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding by whisking together the instant pudding mix and milk until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- Wash and slice the strawberries and bananas right before layering to prevent browning.
- Begin layering in a large trifle bowl: start with a layer of crushed vanilla wafers, followed by pudding, then strawberry and banana slices. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes (4 hours) or overnight.
- Before serving, top with additional whipped cream and crushed wafers for added crunch.
Notes
Use a serrated knife to slice strawberries gently, and avoid using overripe bananas for the best texture.
