Instructions

  4. Whisk together dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  5. Divide dough and knead in food coloring.
  6. Layer and twist colored dough for marbling, then shape.
  7. Slice the dough and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and let cool.

Notes

For a twist, substitute butter with coconut oil or granulated sugar with coconut sugar. Use flaxseed meal and water as an egg replacement if needed.
