- Food coloring (gel preferred)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl until fluffy (3-4 minutes).
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Divide dough and knead in food coloring.
- Layer and twist colored dough for marbling, then shape.
- Slice the dough and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and let cool.
Notes
For a twist, substitute butter with coconut oil or granulated sugar with coconut sugar. Use flaxseed meal and water as an egg replacement if needed.
