Description

Delightful cookies that combine the lushness of cheesecake with the comforting flavors of apple cider and warm spices, making them a perfect treat for autumn.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and apple cider, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding it in gently until combined.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, drop rounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Taste the dough before baking to adjust sweetness if desired.
