Description
A delightful blend of sweet and savory with chocolate, caramel, and apples, perfect for potlucks and family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 – 5 medium-sized crisp apples, diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 6 fun-size Snickers bars, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup of whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- A sprinkle of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Start by washing your apples thoroughly. Slice them into quarters, core them, and dice them into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop your Snickers bars into similar bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the diced apples and chopped Snickers.
- Add the whipped topping, folding gently to keep the apples and candy intact.
- If you’re using nuts, fold them in with the other ingredients.
- Finally, add a splash of vanilla and stir gently once more.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and garnish with some extra Snickers pieces or nuts.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For an even creamier texture, consider mixing whipped cream cheese with whipped topping.
