Description

A comforting dish of potatoes infused with savory Lipton onion soup mix, slow-cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Potatoes (Yukon Gold or red), quartered or sliced
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme
  • 12 cups chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel your potatoes, and cut them into quarters or thick slices.
  2. Add the potatoes to the slow cooker, along with the Lipton Onion Soup Mix, melted butter, and garlic. Toss gently to coat.
  3. Pour in enough broth to almost cover the potatoes, leaving some liquid at the bottom.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add the fresh herbs to the pot.
  6. Once the potatoes are fork-tender, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Avoid adding too much liquid to prevent soggy potatoes. Serve alongside grilled meats for a delightful meal.
