- 1 cup breadcrumbs (fresh or dried)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh rosemary (chopped)
- 1/4 cup fresh sage (chopped)
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté mushrooms in a skillet with butter until golden (about 5-7 minutes) and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine ground sausage, breadcrumbs, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh herbs.
- Whisk the eggs and add to the mixture, drizzling in chicken broth until the mixture is moist but not too wet.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
