Ingredients

Scale
  • Store-bought or homemade pastry dough
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Granulated sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface and cut it into 4×4 inch squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream mixture in the center of each pastry square. Top with a couple of berries.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch them together.
  6. Brush the tops lightly with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.

Notes
