Description

A rich and buttery praline sauce with pecans, perfect for drizzling over desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir continuously until it starts bubbling.
  2. Cook for 2–3 minutes, watching carefully to avoid sticking, until the mixture caramelizes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped pecans and vanilla extract.
  4. Allow the sauce to cool slightly before serving; it will thicken as it cools.
  5. Tip: Add a pinch of sea salt for enhanced flavor.
