Description

A nostalgic treat combining the flavors of traditional pecan pie in a fun, bite-sized form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Granulated or powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans in a pan over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until fragrant.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and sugars. Beat until creamy and uniform.
  3. Fold in the vanilla extract and toasted pecans until well incorporated.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Roll each chilled ball in granulated sugar or powdered sugar before serving.
  7. Serve at room temperature and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with variations by adding chocolate chips or rolling in crushed graham crackers for extra flavor.
