Description

Delicious and nostalgic Orange Creamsicle Truffles that blend the flavors of orange and chocolate, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Orange Zest
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 12 oz Semi-Sweet or Dark Chocolate (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese at room temperature. Add powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and well combined.
  2. Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the filling for about 30 minutes.
  3. Form the Truffles: Once chilled, take small spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into balls using your hands.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: Melt the chocolate using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. Coat the Truffles: Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Set and Serve: Allow the chocolate to harden, either at room temperature or in the fridge. Once set, enjoy your truffles!

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth mixture and avoid overheating the chocolate.
