Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the orange zest and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the flour and dried cranberries until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the dough into logs or disks and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice the logs into rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
- Let cool briefly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Optionally, drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and orange juice.
