- 2 cups crushed cookies (Oreo, gingerbread, or shortbread)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
- Seasonal spices (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed cookies with melted butter and mix until evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch dish and chill for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and add optional flavorings until combined.
- Spread half of the cream filling over the chilled cookie base. Add another layer of crushed cookies and then the remaining cream filling. Top with a final layer of crushed cookies.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight. Slice into squares and serve cold, garnished with additional whipped cream or festive decorations.

Use strong cookies for a sturdy base. Chill properly for the best texture.
