Description
Delightful bite-sized pastries featuring a rich chocolate filling topped with fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberries, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into mini tartlet pans to form your crusts. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden, then let them cool.
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it’s just boiling. Be careful not to let it spill over. Remove from heat and add the dark chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Fill the cooled tartlet crusts generously with the rich chocolate mixture.
- Refrigerate the tartlets for about 2 hours to allow them to set.
- Garnish with fresh, sliced strawberries before serving.
Notes
Pack the graham cracker crust tightly for added structure. Use bittersweet chocolate for a deeper flavor.
