Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Mix in the egg and maple syrup until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and any nuts.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop mounds of dough onto a lined baking sheet with space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and centers are still soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the dough for chewier cookies. Use room temperature butter for best results.
