Description

A refreshing and invigorating drink that combines fresh lemon juice and water, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe lemons
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • Honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • Optional: fresh mint, basil, cucumber slices

Instructions

  1. Select ripe, juicy lemons and roll them on the counter to maximize juice extraction.
  2. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice into a measuring cup, removing any seeds.
  3. In a pitcher, combine 2 cups of filtered water with the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well.
  4. Sweeten to taste with honey or agave syrup.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving over ice with your choice of garnish.

Notes

For a sparkling twist, substitute plain water with sparkling water. Fresh lemons are essential for the best flavor.
