Ingredients
- Tortilla chips
- Shredded cheese (sharp cheddar and mozzarella)
- Cooked chickpeas (canned and drained)
- Fresh coriander (cilantro)
- Diced tomatoes
- Diced onions
- Green chilies (optional)
- Chaat masala seasoning
- Sweet tamarind chutney
- Mint-coriander chutney
- Fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread tortilla chips in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the chips.
- Add cooked chickpeas evenly over the cheese and chips, followed by diced tomatoes and onions.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with sweet tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney.
- Finish with a squeeze of lime and sprinkle chopped coriander on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, lightly toast the tortilla chips before assembling. Adjust baking times based on your oven for the perfect cheese melt.
