Description

A delightful fusion of traditional nachos and Indian spices, topped with melted cheese, chickpeas, and flavorful chutneys.


Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips
  • Shredded cheese (sharp cheddar and mozzarella)
  • Cooked chickpeas (canned and drained)
  • Fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Diced onions
  • Green chilies (optional)
  • Chaat masala seasoning
  • Sweet tamarind chutney
  • Mint-coriander chutney
  • Fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread tortilla chips in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the chips.
  4. Add cooked chickpeas evenly over the cheese and chips, followed by diced tomatoes and onions.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with sweet tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney.
  7. Finish with a squeeze of lime and sprinkle chopped coriander on top.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, lightly toast the tortilla chips before assembling. Adjust baking times based on your oven for the perfect cheese melt.
