Description

A guide to cooking with Wagyu ground beef, highlighting its rich flavor and versatility in dishes like sliders and meatballs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Wagyu ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or butter for extra richness)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon dried garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme
  • Buns or a side dish of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat, and add olive oil or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Wagyu ground beef with minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper gently.
  3. Form the mixture into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  4. Place the patties in the hot skillet without overcrowding.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for burgers or slightly longer for meatballs.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before serving.

Notes

Avoid pressing down on patties while cooking to retain juices. Use a hot skillet for better caramelization.
