- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional spices: thyme, rosemary, smoked paprika, cayenne
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish, skin side up.
- Whisk together the hot honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and optional spices in a bowl.
- Pour the hot honey mixture over the chicken, coating each piece.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Broil on high for 2-3 minutes for caramelization if desired.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with reserved sauce before serving.
Notes
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after baking for moist, tender results.
