Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and dark chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth; remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Slowly incorporate the melted chocolate-butter mixture until combined.
- Add in the flour and salt, stirring just until no dry streaks remain.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring sufficient spacing.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges look set but the centers remain soft. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
