A delightful homemade bread infused with roasted red peppers, fresh garlic, and vibrant chives, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Roasted red peppers (jarred or homemade)
  • Fresh garlic (sautéed or roasted)
  • Chives (freshly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Roast the peppers until charred, cool, peel, and chop.

  3. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing until combined. Stir in roasted peppers, garlic, and chives.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until elastic.
  5. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased bread pan.
  7. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

For a crustier exterior, place a pan of water in the oven while preheating.
