- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, corn, bell peppers)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until fully cooked.
- Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese on top evenly and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving to help layers set.
