Description

A vibrant, layered cocktail that mirrors the colors of the American flag, featuring grenadine, white cranberry juice, and blue curaçao.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ounce grenadine syrup (or pomegranate juice)
  • 3 ounces white cranberry juice (or tonic water)
  • 1 ounce blue curaçao (or blue raspberry syrup and lemonade)
  • Fresh fruit garnishes (strawberries, blueberries, or citrus slices)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare highball or cocktail glasses, consider rimming them with sugar.
  2. Pour 1 ounce of grenadine syrup into the bottom of each glass.
  3. Slowly pour 3 ounces of white cranberry juice over the back of a spoon into each glass.
  4. Top with 1 ounce of blue curaçao, again pouring over the back of a spoon.
  5. Garnish with fresh fruit and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Chill glasses beforehand and pour slowly to achieve distinct layers.
