Easy White Wine Sauce

Description

A simple yet elegant sauce perfect for drizzling over pasta, seafood, chicken, or grilled vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley, basil, or thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Slowly pour in the white wine, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 5–7 minutes until reduced.
  3. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, seasoning with salt, pepper, and freshly chopped herbs.
  4. Drizzle over your dish of choice and enjoy!

Notes

For extra brightness, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. This sauce can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
