- 1 cup dry white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Fresh herbs (like parsley, basil, or thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Slowly pour in the white wine, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 5–7 minutes until reduced.
- Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, seasoning with salt, pepper, and freshly chopped herbs.
- Drizzle over your dish of choice and enjoy!
Notes
For extra brightness, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. This sauce can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
