- 1 cup golden syrup or corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the pie dough into a 9-inch pie pan, crimping the edges.
- Toast the pecans in a skillet over low heat until fragrant.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, golden syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Stir in melted butter.
- Mix toasted pecans into the filling and pour over the prepared crust.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the filling is set and the crust is golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
