Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken thighs simmered with ranch seasoning, pepperoncini peppers, and butter for a flavorful experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs (skinless)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers (with juice)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In the slow cooker, layer the chicken thighs, followed by the ranch dressing mix and pepperoncini peppers.
  3. Dot the chicken with pieces of butter and pour the chicken broth over it, ensuring the chicken is submerged.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken with two forks and pour some of the sauce over it before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
