  • 2 tablespoons softened butter (for spreading)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for sprinkling)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for sprinkling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • Splash of vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle approximately ½-inch thick.
  6. Spread softened butter and evenly sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 1½-inch slices.
  8. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rest for 10 minutes.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  10. For the glaze, blend together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and drizzle over the rolls.

Notes

These rolls can be made dairy-free with coconut oil and non-dairy milk. Ensure to let them rest slightly before baking for fluffier rolls.
