  1. Prepare the custard: In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy. Gradually incorporate the mascarpone and lemon zest, folding gently to maintain fluffiness.
  2. Soak the ladyfingers: Pour the limoncello into a shallow dish. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the limoncello, ensuring they are coated but not soggy. Arrange them in a single layer in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the tiramisu: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers topped with the remaining mascarpone.
  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or ideally overnight.
  5. Serve: Just before serving, dust with cocoa powder and lemon zest for an added touch.

Notes
