Description
Warm, spiced, creamy, and comforting—this Easy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte brings fall straight into your cup with real pumpkin, espresso, and cozy spices.
Ingredients
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
Whipped cream and cinnamon (optional, for topping)
Instructions
1. Brew the coffee or espresso and set aside.
2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, pumpkin puree, and sweetener.
3. Heat gently while stirring, until hot but not boiling.
4. Whisk in pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract.
5. Remove from heat and froth the milk using a frother or whisk vigorously.
6. Pour the coffee into a mug, then top with the spiced milk mixture.
7. Add whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy warm.
Notes
Use oat milk or almond milk for a dairy-free version.
For extra froth, shake the hot milk mixture in a tightly sealed mason jar.
Adjust spice and sweetness to your taste—start small and build up.
Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat gently the next day.
