Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) of Butter
  • ½ cup of All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups of Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • 1 cup of Milk or Cream
  • 23 cloves of Garlic (fresh and minced)
  • Black Pepper and Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter in a medium skillet over medium heat until it sizzles gently.
  2. Whisk in the All-Purpose Flour, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes until it forms a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in the Chicken or Vegetable Broth and let it simmer.
  4. As the mixture thickens, stir in the minced Garlic.
  5. Pour in the Milk or Cream until fully combined.
  6. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  7. Once thickened to your liking, serve over your favorite comfort foods.
