- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup butter (softened, for the frosting)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- Chocolate cones for the hats
- Decorative candies like M&Ms or Skittles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and oil (or applesauce). Mix until smooth.
- Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by beating softened butter with powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Gradually add milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Frost each cooled cupcake, creating a mound shape.
- Press a chocolate cone into the center of the frosting to form the witch hat. Decorate with edible candies.
