Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add sugar, mixing until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Use an ice cream scoop to distribute batter evenly into each liner, filling them about ⅔ full.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; allow to cool completely.
