These Easy Delicious Buffalo Chicken Sliders are the perfect combination of spicy, buttery goodness and crunchy slaw, making them a crowd-pleasing favorite for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 8 slider rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage or prepared slaw
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles or ranch dressing
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm the chicken in a skillet over medium heat, and then add the buffalo sauce and melted butter. Stir constantly until the chicken heats through and the sauce coats every shred.
  2. Taste and season with salt and pepper. If the sauce seems thin, simmer for a minute to thicken, but do not dry out the chicken.
  3. Split the slider rolls and toast them lightly in a buttered skillet or under a broiler.
  4. Build the sliders by placing a generous scoop of buffalo chicken on the bottom half of each roll, then add a small handful of slaw and finish with blue cheese crumbles or ranch. Sprinkle with chives.
  5. Close the sliders and brush the tops with a little more melted butter; bake at 350°F for 5 minutes to meld the flavors and warm the rolls through.

Notes

For a creamier filling, stir in a spoonful of cream cheese while the chicken simmers. Assemble sliders close to service time to maintain texture.
