Easy Death By Chocolate Mini Cheesecakes

Description

Decadent mini cheesecakes packed with rich chocolate flavor, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 12 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of mini paper liners in a muffin tin.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth and mix in sugar.
  5. Melt bittersweet chocolate and mix into the cream cheese along with sour cream.
  6. Spoon the filling over each crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly puffed.
  8. Let cool in the tins for a few minutes, then chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  9. Serve with chocolate ganache or whipped cream.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Neufchâtel cheese and Greek yogurt. Bake in a water bath to prevent cracks.
