Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon; set aside.
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll in a mix of granulated sugar and cinnamon. Place on baking sheets 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Centers should look slightly underbaked.
- Let cool before preparing the frosting.
- Whip together softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until creamy.
- Frost cooled cookies and enjoy!
