Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (179°C).
- Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and toasted pecans.
- Drop dollops of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
