Description
A quick and simple recipe for making perfectly crispy garlic bread in an air fryer, featuring rich butter, garlic, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 crusty bread (baguette or country loaf), sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (or basil)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (or Pecorino)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in olive oil, parsley, Parmesan, and seasonings. Mix well and adjust to taste.
- Slice the bread into 3/4 inch thick pieces. Brush both sides with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space for air circulation.
- Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- If desired, add more Parmesan during the last minute of cooking for extra cheesiness.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use vegan butter and nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan. Be cautious with the garlic; it can burn quickly.
