Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin wedges.

- Sprinkle in the cornstarch and mix well, allowing the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the apple mixture and cook for about 10 minutes until the apples are tender but not mushy.
- Let the filling cool completely before using or storing in the fridge.
Notes
For deeper flavor, consider adding vanilla extract or a splash of bourbon. Adjust sugar and spices based on your family’s preferences.
