- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried dill)
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, adding a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Chop dill pickles, onion, and any additional veggies into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the dressing by mixing mayonnaise, mustard, and chopped dill in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine the cooled macaroni, chopped ingredients, and dressing in a large bowl. Stir gently.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy, adjusting seasoning if necessary.
Notes
For extra crunch, toast some breadcrumbs with butter and sprinkle on top before serving.
