Description

A refreshing dessert featuring layers of zesty lemon filling, buttery crust, and fluffy whipped topping, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for topping)
  • Splash of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and melted butter. Stir until it resembles wet sand. Press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool.
  2. For the lemon filling, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gradually add lemon juice and zest, mix until fluffy. Pour over cooled crust and smooth it out.
  3. For the whipped topping, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Spread over the lemon layer.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight). Slice into squares and enjoy.
