  • Author: Marlene Quinn
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A delightful and nostalgic snack made from leftover pizza dough, seasoned with herbs and baked to crunchy perfection.

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • Dried Oregano
  • Garlic Powder
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional Toppings: Chopped Olives, Sautéed Mushrooms, Fresh Herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Use a pizza cutter or knife to slice the dough into desired chip sizes.
  4. Place the chips on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with herbs and spices.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Allow the chips to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider a second round of baking. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for optimal crispiness.
