Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the chunks of beef on all sides.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Transfer the browned beef into your crockpot. Add chopped carrots, potatoes, celery, minced garlic, and herbs. Pour in the beef broth.

  4. Prepare Dumplings: In the last half-hour, combine dumpling ingredients until just mixed. Form small balls of dough and drop them onto the stew.
