Description
A delightful salmon dish featuring crispy skin and luscious miso butter, topped with vibrant scallion salsa verde for a symphony of flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Salmon fillets (preferably skin-on)
- 3 tablespoons White miso paste
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, softened
- 4 Scallions, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together softened butter and miso paste until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season lightly with salt and cracked black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Once shimmering, place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon, dollop miso butter on top, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until just cooked through.
- While the salmon cooks, mix chopped scallions, parsley, cilantro, lime juice, and olive oil in a bowl; season with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon on a serving plate and spoon the scallion salsa verde over the top. Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the skillet for perfect crispiness and always let the salmon rest before serving.
